Miss Cassey has been dancing since a very young age and has several years teaching experience throughout the triad area. Cassey went to the North Carolina School of the Arts for dance where she performed for numerous audiences with lead parts in Peter and the Wolf and The Nutcracker. Additionally, Cassey spent 3 years performing with the Schrader’s Youth Ballet. While in High School Cassey spent her summers training in Master Classes throughout the U.S., at the Adriatic Ballet Dance Intensive in Italy, at the Radio City Rockettes Intensive in California, and right here at the Wake Forest Community Ballet Intensive and North Carolina School of the Arts Dance Intensives. Her awards and honors include National Dance Titles in NV, GA, and FL; Dance Scholarships with the Kids Artistic Review Dance Competition, Showstoppers American Dance Championships, Star Systems National Dance Competition, Star Power Talent Competition, Nexstar Talent Competition, and Encore National Dance Competition. As a dance instructor on the competitive level, Cassey has been able to translate her own expertise and honors in dance into choreography that receives top titles and awards for her students. Cassey also enjoys the Beauty Pageant scene and has received titles as Teen Miss Merry Christmas, Little Miss Lake Hickory, and a top runner-up in the Miss North Carolina pageant. For the past few years, Cassey has expanded her dance knowledge into judging multiple well know Regional and National Dance Competitions. Cassey loves teaching at Pro Dance Academy and looks forward to many years to come!
Miss Caitlyn started dancing at the age of 2 at various local dance studios including Baylin Dance Studio, Extrava Dance, and Advance Dance. She has been trained in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, modern, improv, pointe, acro, clogging, and lyrical and began competing at the young age of 5. During High School, in addition to competing with Advance Dance, she also danced for 2 years on the dance team at Reagan High School and was a Reagan High School Varsity Cheerleader for one year. In her senior year, she was asked to help teach freshman dance classes at Reagan. Miss Caitlyn was named an All County Dancer in Forsyth County and a consecutive All American Dancer at her Dance Team’s National Summer Dance Camps. While at UNC Charlotte, Miss Caitlyn had the privilege of dancing on the elite dance team, the Gold Dusters for 2 years. She majored in Dance Education and minored in Dance Performance. Along with being on the Gold Dusters, she had the honor of being a dancer in an ensemble called Range of Motion. She is currently the Assistant Director and Choreographer of the Professional Dance team the “Venom” for the Carolina Cobras Arena Football Team. Her favorite styles to dance and choreograph to are contemporary and hip-hop because she can best show her passion for dance and her love to tell stories through these two genres. Miss Caitlyn loves being able to share her love of dance with her students at Pro Dance Academy.
Rain was born and raised in Maryland and has been dancing since the age of 6. Rain is trained in all styles of dance but through his inspiration from legends like Michael Jackson, James Brown and old school movies like Beat Street and Breakin’, became most passionate about hip hop. While at Ft. Meade High School, Rain broke through barriers by becoming the first male dancer on the Ft. Meade Dance Company. Since then he has been trained in, and has taught, various styles of Hip Hop including, competitive hip hop, Freestyle, King Tutting, Krump, Popping and Old School dance. He has been a backup dancer for Laura Edwards, Gary Beauford, and local Maryland artist Emerj. Rain looks up to Hip Hop legends Poppin Pete, Boppin Andre, and Mr. Wiggles and is excited to join Pro Dance Academy to make sure hip hop will always be taught to students the right way.
Mrs. Stefanie started dancing in 1983 with Voglar Studios in Winston Salem learning Tap, Ballet, Jazz and Baton. In 1988 Mrs. Stefanie began clogging and has continued that study throughout her adult dancing career. She is a 2005 graduate of Mars Hill College (currently renamed Mars Hill University). During her time at Mars Hill College, Mrs. Stefanie was a member of the Bailey Mountain Cloggers. Dancing with BMC allowed her to travel to different parts of the world to entertain people of all nationalities through the art of American Folk Dance and clogging. From 2006-2008 Mrs. Stefanie operated the Carolina Cheer & Dance Company in Newland NC specializing in multiple areas of dance and competitive cheerleading. In January of 2007 she founded the Carolina Fusion Cloggers. Over the past 10 years Carolina Fusion has become a driving force in the traditional styles of clogging holding multiple National Championship wins in areas such as Southern Appalachian, Line Formation, Small Team Exhibition and Artistic Expression also known as Show. Carolina Fusion has been named the Young Adult Team of the Year three times by America’s Clogging Hall of Fame and in 2015 was named the Traditional Team of the Year by Clogging Champions of America. In August of 2015 Mrs. Stefanie started working with a small group of children from all over NC called the Fusion Minis. Mrs. Stefanie is a 2007 Inductee to the Americas Clogging Hall of Fame All American Team as well as a 2010 Member of the ACHF Team of the Decade. She is the owner of Carolina Premier Dance Company formerly located in Newton, NC. Mrs. Stefanie is thrilled to be heading up the clogging program at Pro Dance Academy and is looking forward to new challenges and great results from all of the wonderful cloggers at PDA.
Miss Kelly has been dancing since the age of 3. She is trained in ballet, clogging, tap, contemporary, jazz, and hip-hop. At the age of 11 Kelly began competing and is still a member of the Academy here at Pro Dance where she has won many 1st place, overall, title, special awards for her routines. Kelly has been a member of the Georgia Clogging Association’s All-State Team since 2014. In 2015, she won 1st place overall for her Clogging solo at Encore National Dance Competition. She also won the title of Miss Southeastern Clogger in 2016. While competing at Applause Talent, Kelly was part of an elite group of dancers to receive a scholarship to attend Fuzion Dance Camp in Chicago. At Inspire’s National Dance Competition she was a part of a first place overall Clogging group routine and a platinum performing solo . Kelly has had the privilege of being able to assist with multiple classes at Pro Dance including ballet, tap, and clogging. She has been trained in many different styles of clogging ranging from contemporary to traditional clogging and she is very excited to be on staff at Pro Dance Academy and teaching young cloggers!
